Gig Connection

Once you have completed this form, DePaul’s Gig Manager will post information about your event on a School of Music student job-board and will notify appropriate musicians of the opportunity. Once a musician is found, they will contact you directly using the information you provide. DePaul cannot guarantee that every request will be fulfilled. During academic breaks (summer, winter break) student availability may be especially limited, and response times may be longer than normal. Please note: Student musicians participating in this program typically charge a base rate of $125 per musician per hour, with a minimum of 1 hour. Additional fees may apply for the movement of larger instruments (i.e. harp, percussion, etc.) significant travel, or extra rehearsal time.

DePaul provides this Gig Connection service as a convenient way for you to connect with student musicians interested in performing at your event. Student musicians participating in this service meet minimum standards set by DePaul School of Music faculty. However, DePaul offers Gig Connection without any warranties or guarantees and will not act as a party to any contract for performances arranged using this service.
